Registration for Conference

The cost for the conference is $220 (GST inclusive).  The Conference Dinner on the Friday and Saturday evenings are a separate cost to the registration fee.  Because of catering etc, pre-registration is necessary.  If your partner is not attending the conference but would like to join you for the dinners, please mention this in the box available for messages to the conference organisers so we can invoice you accordingly.

We would prefer you to register online but if you don’t have facilities for that, please phone the Biodynamic Association at 06-306 8582 (afternoons – leave a message).  You can pay by bank transfer or by posting a cheque to the Association Office.  Credit card facilities are not available.

Registration is complete when the invoice is paid, not before.

A small fund is available to assist those who wish to attend, but whose financial circumstances (such as low or no income) mean they won’t otherwise be able to.  If you need assistance and think you’d qualify please contact the Association Office.  You’ll then be asked to provide some information in writing.

Other Useful Information

Don’t forget the conference is being held in the South Island in the middle of winter.  Despite global warming – bring warm clothes!

Also, book your flights and accommodation early.  We know this is a great time to have an event, and so does the Queenstown Winter Festival people.  They have decided to run the festival this same weekend this year, so accommodation and flights will get booked up quickly.  Plus, there is an All Blacks game in Dunedin on the 23rd June so the bottom of the South Island will be a busy place to get to.

If you want to avoid the rush and take a bit of time then arrive early and stay later.  There are plenty of things to do in Central Otago – botanical gardens, Puzzling World, local wine bar, local brewery, Lavendar farm, Cardrona Ski Field to name a few.  Check out the information available at the Wanaka I-site and the Queenstown I-site.

Directions to Venues

The conference is being held in Clyde at the Orchard Garden on 22nd June and in Wanaka at Rippon Vineyard on 23-24 June.  The nearest airport is Queenstown.  A map with the venues marked can be found here.
